After further testing and refinement we were able to remove the “lower bridge” of the stem body whilst still ensuring the stem passes all EN testing standards. This opens up the possibility to mount many 3rd party accessories ( GPS mounts, Lights, Camera etc ) within the area between the top clamps … Furthermore this V2 weighs just 148g!

Retro-inspired, modern functionality.

When we set out to design a stem, we knew the market already had some great options and probably didn’t need another lightweight or round stem to add into the mix.

Looking at some of the great designs from the early days of MTB, we wanted to add some of that styling into a modern version.

Updated now to a 31.8mm bar diameter and available in 1 extension – 70mm – our new HEADSPACE stem offers a new option to the crowded stem market.

Why 70mm? Well, with gravel bike geometry progressing almost daily and most modern 29er trail setups running shorter stems ( less than 90mm at least ) we think this is the sweet-spot.

We designed the Top Clamp to be the same width as our Carbon/Alloy Aero Bolt-On and therefore allow for a unique and completely integrated front-end setup. Just another option …
