Ever wanted to get that Old School BMX look and feel on your MTB? Well, we did, and with a very limited range of options to look at, we decided to design our own.
Classic 4130 Butted Cromoly tubing gives the bar a unique ride quality and “feel” that only steel can offer. Inspired by the classic V-Cross BMX bars from the 80’s we decided to add this feature to our handlebar.
They’re wider than most at 820mm ( can be cut down to 720mm ) and have a comfortable 12 degree rear sweep with a 70mm rise.
In keeping with the retro/BMX style the clamp diameter on these is 22.2mm so your standard BMX stem will be the perfect addition to complete the cockpit. Should you want to run a 31.8 MTB stem then a shim set like those from the guys at PROBLEM SOLVERS would do the trick.
